Coming to the Byron Bay region on holiday? - Here's a few things happening in and around Byron Bay this month:

Byron Twilight Market

The popular evening market in the heart of Byron Bay operates annually for an extended summer period from October through to Easter. With markets taking place every Saturday at Railway Park, Byron Bay turns into a creative hub where visitors can find boutique stalls with unique arts and crafts made by talented local artisans. Products at the Twilight Market range from jewellery, leather goods, clothing and can vary each week. Visitors are welcome to listen to great music and enjoy incredible food.

The Byron Twilight market provides a fantastic opportunity for artists, designers, healers, producers and musicians to showcase their talents as well as handmade, high-quality designs in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere.

When: Every Saturday evening until Easter, 4-9pm
Where: Railway Park, (middle of Jonson St / main street), Byron Bay

North Coast Street Machines

North Coast Street Machines car club will celebrate their 29th annual Show-n-Shine at Ballina Rugby League Grounds in 2019.

The gates will open for entrants at 7am and to be set up by 9am. There will be a variety of Street Machines, Vintage and Veteran cars, Hot Rods and special interest vehicles.

When: Sunday 13th January 2019
Where: Ballina Rugby League Grounds, Kingsford Smith Park, Ballina (20 minute drive from Byron Bay Farm Cottages)

Ballina Brick Event

The biggest and best Lego Fan Expo is coming to Ballina for the very first time in January 2019 for the inaugural Ballina Brick Event. The Ballina Brick Event is set to showcase amazing dioramas, custom Lego creations from many talented local brick builders who will be exhibiting creations built entirely from Lego.

The Ballina Brick Event is a Lego fan event for all ages and will be one of the biggest yet showcasing over 30 different exhibits all made from Lego bricks.

When: Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th January 2019

Byron Bay Community Market

The famous Byron Bay Community Market is usually on the 1st Sunday of every month, but there are also an extra 2 in summer - the 3rd Sunday in December and January. 

Byron Bay’s Community Market is a collection of market stalls which showcase Byron’s intrinsic authenticity and lively culture. Fused with the combination of a welcoming atmosphere, artistic talent, fantastic food, local musicians, buskers and authentic products, the Community Market offers an inspiring illustration of Byron’s local community at its best.

When: Sunday 20th January 2019. 8am - 3pm
Where: Butler Street Reserve, Byron Bay
