The annual Byron Writers Festival is Australia’s largest and leading regional celebration of storytelling, literature and ideas. Each year we present more than 150 sessions during Festival Week and attract an audience of approximately 12,000 people (or 70,000 individual attendances) in the stunning surrounds of Byron Bay.
The Festival line-up includes 140 predominantly Australian writers and thinkers who together challenge, entertain and share their stories, inspirations and insights.

Byron Bay Farm Cottages are just a few minutes drive from the Writers Festival and the heart of Byron Bay. Situated on 300 acres with self-contained cottage accommodation, it's the perfect place to relax, read, write and soak up the beautiful views. All cottages have a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom and private balcony that overlooks our own lake. Guests are welcome to explore the property - walks, BBQs, picnics, kayak on the lake (kayaks supplied) or fish (BYO gear) or use our mountain bike tracks (BYO bike).
